The Adult College provides a wide range of courses for the adult community at centres throughout Barking and Dagenham. Our courses offer value for money in a relaxed and friendly environment. Over 5,000 adults took advantage of our courses last year and we hope that you will join them.
Our expert staff are on hand to support students with their learning aims, whether you are a complete beginner or a more confident and experienced learner.
We want you to get the most out of your time at the Adult College, so before deciding on a course make sure you have all the information you need. We have detailed information sheets on every course available on request or if you require further advice or information please give us a call between:

Change Your Life
Returning to learning could be the first step in getting you where you want to be. It's your chance to get back to work, launch a new career or simply indulge an interest.
Learning doesn't have to be about getting a qualification; there's much satisfaction from just getting to grips with something new and proving to yourself that you can do it. You don't have to make a big time commitment to learn something new. Most of our courses take only 1 or 2 hours a week.

A cafeteria offering a range of refreshments is available at the Fanshawe site during term time. Opening times are: Monday to Thursday
9.00am to 8.30pm
Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm
Saturday 9.00am to 12.30pm

Childcare facilities are available at the Fanshawe and Marks Gate
